Josh the Otter got to hang with his buddies, Herbie Husker and Lil Red, this past Sunday to help with the Husker Heroes event in support of special needs children! The Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation is a new member of the O.N.E. Organization which promotes health and inclusion for all people in the Lincoln area.

Nebraska introduced Lil' Red about 20 years ago, but Mascot Herbie Husker remains the go-to mascot for most Cornhuskers.

Herbie and Lil' Red enter the stadium each game day on a tandem bike just before Nebraska's Tunnel Walk.

Herbie earned the Mascot of the Year honor in 2005!

Maybe someday Josh the Otter will join them on the Husker field each game day! Promoting water safety to over 85,000 people in the stands...
